Teacher Working Time Agreement

These mechanisms should resolve disputes that may be individual or collective without recourse procedures. This would not affect a teacher`s existing right to resort to formal appeal procedures. Each educational institution will put in place effective mechanisms to support the collective time agreement process. These mechanisms are defined at the local level and reflect local realities. Negotiation mechanisms at the local and national levels will monitor the effectiveness of school mechanisms to ensure agreement on teachers` working time and to prioritize them. A Working Time Agreement (WTA) is a collective agreement that is concluded at the school level between the union (s) and the principal. It provides information on discussions on working conditions at the local level and must be supported by effective consultation mechanisms at the institutional level, which ensure the full participation of all civil servants in important decisions concerning their institution. Interviews are conducted by the principal of the school as the general director and by the person in charge of the school`s activities. The individual and collective work of teachers should be able to be carried out within 35 hours. Teachers` schedules and assignments are negotiated at the national level and are part of the agreed terms of service for teachers. This code of conduct was developed to better describe the rights and responsibilities associated with the implementation of national conditions of service.

Once the negotiations are over, they will be signed, as agreed by the Re and the Director. The agreement is now mandatory for all employees. Teachers` schedules and assignments are negotiated at the national level and are part of the agreed terms of service for teachers (part 2 of Schedule 2.7 of the SNCT). Effective planning procedures should help manage workload. Teachers have a responsibility to work with colleagues and others to pursue the overall objectives of the service. Each educational institution establishes an annual program of action that requires the participation of teachers. In each school, teachers will agree on the range of collective activities that contribute to the general life of the school on a collegial basis.
